Survey on support needed for optimizing patient reporting

As WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmacovigilance in Education and Patient Reporting, the Netherlands Pharmacovigilance Centre Lareb would like to support countries who are members of the WHO Programme for International Drug Monitoring in setting up, running and analyzing data from patients reports.

In order to be able to provide support, a web-based questionnaire was developed in order to identify what kind of support is currently needed worldwide. The questionnaire was disseminated for all countries participating in the WHO Programme for International Drug Monitoring, including full and associate members, as well as other countries, in a total of 178 countries.

With the questionnaire results we expected to develop specific tools to increase consumer reporting at a global level.
